once that's done the program should work fine. you can check the patch validity by comparing the original file and the crack file with sweetscape 010editor, under tools it has the option to compare files. those hex differences should be the same as the hex patches listed in the nfo file, they are also in the patch vbscript.
the hexpatcher needs to be run from the 'patch sar runasadmin.vbs file'. the vbscript will run the hexpatcher.exe, that's the way it works. you would need to learn how to start a program with cmd.exe in order to understand more about the hexpatcher.exe program, plus some other basic concepts about executable files. you can run the hexpatcher from other script formats, but i don't think you know what that is.
your best bet is to verify that you have the complete torrent content 100%, it looks like you may not have downloaded it in its entirety before attempting to view or run the files. everything works fine, i have done a few torrents, some of them using hexpatcher.exe. it's a great little hex replacer.
I tried to fix it within control panel, and now I don't have any sound no more. Please help?:-(
