Description

This is a high quality, full resolution, high profile x264 DVD rip of The Shield - Season 1 (of 7).

I believe this was originally aired on the F/X channel. Has some of the same writers as the excellent F/X show, Sons of Anarchy. I'm not too into cop shows, but this was some great tv.

The original DVD's are kind of grainy/noisy, so the file size had to be increased to maintain a good quality (CRF). These files may be a little large for some. But if you aren't worried about space, and want a higher quality, to output to a t.v. or such, then this is for you. I've previewed the episodes and they look and sound great on a 50 inch LCD/surround sound system.

Download Speed: Mine averaged between 500 KB/s and 1MB/s out of a system max of 1.3 MB/s.\n

Show Itself: Outstanding. Brilliant writing, well acted. I stayed up waaaaaay too late last night because I just couldn't stop watching.\n

I take random screenshots. Is it great quality? video 9 audio 9 is it? are you kidding me?
It size is 7.61 GB but its hasn't 7gb quality.
Its not good for 7.61 size but its okay.
Its not great upload but its great tv series.

I totally disagree with this poster.

These eps are only 600 mb's each, and for that file size the A/V quality is excellent: 10/9 when considering size, 9/8 vs files of any size.
