Thank you for downloading Rodina, by Elliptic Games!
This build is BLOWING THE AIRLOCK and adds a brand-new feature to Rodina: atmospheric simulation. In this system, every room on your ship, and every location out in space, has an associated atmospheric density. Opening all of the doors on your ship to and draining the atmosphere can be a quick way to extinguish a whole fire, but it might also result in explosive decompression and throw you out the airlock!
It’s not hopeless out in space, however, as you can use your new Jetpack to fly back in the ship. To activate the jetpack, simply try to hit jump while you are already in the air.
This build also contains some new options for improving performance on low-spec machines, some optimizations to improve AI performance, and it removes the Steam wrapper which was causing problems for a large handful of customers.

Rodina is in ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT! That means that you WILL see issues- funny behavior, crashes, poor performance on some machines, etc.

ENEMIES CURRENTLY RESPAWN
I added a feature to turn off enemy respawning, so that you could clear out a planet. Unfortunately this feature turned out to be broken at the last minute so I removed it. I will add it back in at a later date
RODINA CRASHES WHEN SOME USERS TRY TO RECORD VIDEO
A handful of users have reported that when they try to record videos with apps like Fraps and Dxtory, their game occasionally crashes and ruins their video. I haven’t definitively fixed this problem but I have reason to believe that it is because of some conflict with my music streaming library.
Workaround: There is a new option at the bottom of the options menu called “[debug] disable music”. Setting this option to “Yes” will turn music off completly, and MAY help with this crash.
