This Works And has No viruses,spyware or any other discrepancies.\n
you have to fallow the steps.\n
1. once you have downloaded the torrent you will see:\n
BaseCamp v4.0.2 patched exe.rar (dont need)\n
BaseCamp_402 (dont need)\n
Garmin Canada NT 2013.30 unlocked IMG.rar (for canada maps)\n
Garmin Full North America NT 2013.30 unlocked IMG.rar (for North America)\n
Garmin Islans (hope you see the patern by now)\n
Garmin Mexico\n
Garmin USA-Hawaii-Alaska NT \n
once you know which one you need open it with winrar or winzip or 7zip what ever you use to open zip files.\n
you will then see the file you need to put on a SD card.\n
2.The SD card should be a normal SD not SDHC (it says it on the lable)\n
3. Format the SD card using FAT32 file system (double check your default might be different)\n
4. Very important you make a file called Garmin in your SD card\n
5. Extract the file you have chosen in step 1 into the Garmin folder you made in the SD card.\n
6. put the SD card in your Garmin at start up you will see normal start up and then a status bar. then you are done\n
7. to make sure you have done it right on your Garmin go to maps info and you should see the map you chose and 2013 at the end.\n
you don't replace maps the Garmin system will do it automatically.\n
This is only for SD card updates not USB to PC.\n
If you don't make Garmin folder in SD card you wont see streets

I have tried all directions. I can move a computer pretty well. This is not working for me.
I have an SD card that is 8mg, its formated fat32 and the gps doesnt see the card when i turn it on. Nuvi 255w. I tried to put the file directly on to the gps but its too big. I removed the languages that i dont need and removed the original file gmapprom.img and it still wont look at the card. \n
Whats the deal ?
