Recorded on Dec 04, 2001, Eric Clapton is captured live in Japan on tour for his Reptile album. Clapton's set is filled with newer gems mixed with old solo classics and songs from the esteemed Cream catalog.



The "George" of the title refers to former Beatle George Harrison, a longtime friend, associate, and collaborator of Clapton. Harrison died in the fall in 2001. Fittingly, Clapton mounted this live concert soon after. Featured is the song 'Badge' dedicated to the late George Harrison. Also included is 'Layla' (ironically, written about George Harrison's wife, Patti while she was still married to George!)
