Originally released on vinyl/cassette in 1983, this album showcases the Doctor Who music composed by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Mainly drawing on music from Series 18 & 19, all tracks were remixed into true stereo, and compiled (with sound effects added) by Dick Mills.



It was re-released on CD in 1991 by Silva Screen, with some tracks added (and the 1980 theme removed - to be included on the sequel CD, Doctor Who - Music from 'The Five Doctors' aka The Music II. (The original vinyl/cassette release of this sequel album had no theme arrangements on it at all.)



The actual CD of this has been out of print for many years, and is very hard to get hold of (unless you are prepared to part with a lot of money on eBay!) and so many thanks go out to Radiophonic for making this available.



The version included in my previous '2009 Music Collection' MegaTorrent (repack on it's way) was patched together from various sources and only included the tracks on the original vinyl/cassette release.



This is a fresh rip @ 320kbps, and includes the original Silva Screen CD art and my own remastered versions (in the style of the original vinyl release) in CBR format (150dpi).



N.B. Apart from the Side 1/2 divide (and the tracks added for the CD re-release) most of the tracks on this album all mix into each other, so if you are looking to burn this to CD, I recommend you download the FLAC/CUE version.
