Its working perfectly, for the peoplehaving trouble with the "44" already beeing there just change it to "-language 44" (w quotes).

just remove the language specification in the shortcut proprieties.

update: installation shortcuts have "-language 48" after the target. Erasing that changes things to English, but then the game CTDs before the main menu.

There is a lang.dat in the main folder, open it with notepad and be sure inside it's "44" (that's the language code for english).

Or like the previous comment, change the shortcut's "-language 48" into "-language 44" (without quotes) and see if it helps.
