This is the 1984 single "Wild Thing" by the Los Angeles punk band X, featuring lead singer Exene Cervenka. It is the version of "Wild Thing" featured in the movie Major League. Everyone, including myself, seemed to think this version was by Joan Jett or the Runaways, but it isn't. The singing does sound like Jett, but the Runaways' version of "Wild Thing" sounds nothing like this, and Jett never recorded a version.
