What is SpainUHD
SpainUHD photorealistic scene is a new high-resolution mesh throughout Spain, with zoom level 17 on the mainland and on islands 18 and elevation data 25 meter resolution for the flight simulator X-Plane 10 . Features main of this scenario are:


Data source 100% free, both orthophotos as elevation data and water bodies. There are no legal impediments for distribution.
Mesh generated from 0 ( from scratch ). Has not been used any existing mesh, all meshes are generated from the data error MDT25 a meter and a baseline of 1,000,000 vertices on the peninsula and 2,000,000 for the islands (the default is 78,000 vertices and error of 6.5 meters).
High resolution orthophotos. Like those of SimHeaven on the peninsula they are zoom 17 (1.20 / approx pix), but the textures have undergone only a compression level and that have been downloaded directly GeoTiff uncompressed format, unlike the of Google to come in Jpeg format and compressed. The final compression is done DXT1, whereby the size of texture is the same (2.66MB in the case of 2k) while retaining a higher level of detail. In the case of islands zoom level is 18 (60cm / pix approx.).
No watermarks of "owner" of orthophotos, obviously.
The performance is very similar to scenarios SimHeaven but CPU and RAM requirements are somewhat higher to have one, similar to those of the UHD meshes rather more complex web AlpilotX . With a graphical 1Gb VRAM move perfectly.
