For just the base game w/o all the geographical data, only Disk 1 is needed.

To install you will need to burn the disks to a DL W/RW Disk or use a disk mounter(Daemon Tools, PowerISO, etc.) Then you will need this:

Otherwise the install might not work. Game can update with no problems.

For this to not be in demo mode you will need either any valid X-Plane 10 Disk (North America Disk has been tested and worked), or a No-DVD Crack.

It is the full version, there is just some piracy protection so it asks for a XP10 disk. However all you need is a valid disk, or no-CD crack for it to not be in the demo version. No registration or serial code needed.
