Nel secondo capitolo della celebre saga tratta dall’omonimo best seller di Melissa de la Cruz, le donne della famiglia Beauchamp devono affrontare molti problemi, come l’avvelenamento di Joanna o le visioni di Freya. Al cast si aggiunge Frederick, il figlio di Joanna, che è anche il gemello di Freya: quando i due sono assieme sono in grado di fare incantesimi che non possono fare da soli. Fredrick però è da considerarsi un pericolo o un aiuto per la famiglia? Fra le molte Guest Star spiccano le recurring Bianca Lawson (Buffy, Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries) e James Marsters (Buffy, Hawaii Five-0, Smallville).

Joanna Beauchamp (Julia Ormond, Vento di Passioni) vive con le due figlie Freya e Ingrid, che non sanno di essere due streghe. Joanna è immortale, ma è costretta a convivere con una maledizione che fa sì che le sue due figlie muoiano prima di arrivare ai trent’anni, per poi rinascere subito dopo a distanza di poco tempo l’una dall’altra. La serie si basa su un romanzo di Melissa de la Cruz e ha esordito in America ottenendo uno strepitoso successo d’ascolti.
