Radio dramatisation of the classic Terence Rattigan play of one man's fight to clear his young son's name, after his son is sent from the Royal Naval College at Osborne, accused of stealing a 5/- Postal Order.

Rattigan based the play upon the true story of George Archer-Shee who was accused of such a crime and cleared after a trial in 1910. Archer-Shee was commissioned into the British Army in 1913 and was killed in action in October 1914, aged 19.
