Somewhere, actually several somewheres, I have the unofficial Windows 98 SESP+ which had rolled up all the updates and a whole bunch of upgrades, especially one to allow you to use humongous (1 GB+) memory. Usual DirectX, yada, yada.

I still use retro around here. Turbo C++ is a fave for quick and dirty apps, some databases used for serious upgrades, and gotta love those old Win 98, DOS, and Amiga programs still. [Okay, so I'm ancient by the standards here. Last four of user name is birth year ]

Added to to-do list and given that I'm spending the week consolidating storage and distributing backups out to other locations, it'll turn up.
