What you'll need: • An internet connection • CD, DVD or USB to burn the the ISO (optional) • External hard drive or USB for Windows Easy Transfer (optional) • Patience Instructions: (click the images to enlarge) 1. Check if you're PC can run Windows 7, open folder '1' then install and run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. • 2. Now let's burn Win7 to a DVD or USB, open folder '2,' run and install Windows 7 USB DVD Tool, browse for the ISO file in folder '3' (If you don't have a USB/DVD, install Daemon Tools, double click the ISO file and run "setup.exe") • 3. To boot from your media device, restart your PC, when you see something like "Press F8 to select boot menu" or "Press F12 to choose boot device" somewhere on the screen, press that key immediately then choose your DVD/USB • 4. Now we're in Setup, just click "Go online to get the latest updates.." 5. After that, choose whether to Upgrade or do a clean installation, also known as "Custom" then select available hard drives or partitions. (You can only upgrade if you're using Vista or other versions of Win7) • 6. After you enter your user name and password you will be asked to type a key, do not type or enter anything, and untick the box beside "Automatically activate Windows when I am online." 7. Yay! You've successfully installed Windows 7 Ultimate! We're almost done.. You can either update Windows now or after activation. Let's activate Windows, open folder '4,' right click "Windows 7 Activation" and click "Run as administrator." Now just hit Install. Once done, click on "Restart." (If it fails, you may have to adjust the PC brands on the "Profile" tab to match yours.) •• 8. Let's see if Windows is really activated, search for "cmd" on the start menu, type in "slmgr.vbs -XPR" and hit enter. 9. It's safe to update Windows, even after activation. • 10. Time to celebrate!
