Project got shelved however, due to inner struggles, both in Townshend as the band The Who. Instead of "Lifehouse, these recordings form the base of both the "Who's Next" and the "Quadrophenia" albums. Although this bootleg is attributed to The Who, this is in fact Pete Townshend solo, as none of the bandmates were involved in the recording of these songs. Solo has to be taken literally, since Petey took care of every single instrument here. Sound varies from quite extraordinary to plain good. This is to my knowledge also the only bootleg that has all the songs gathered together. One track, "Join Together" appears to be recorded live, but Townshend mixed an audience sound through the song, to get a live feel. This is a small gem and one of the better studio soundboards out there. But I'll let you be the judge of that... JJ Tracklist: Disc One: 01. Baba O'Riley - 13:14 02. Bargain - 4:16 03.
