Whistle Down the Wind (1961)

This was a lovely film though in Monochrome I really enjoyed it immensely. The Acting the plot and the Direction of the film are skilfull and noteworthy. An interesting look back in time when films had to be made the old fashion way utilising skills not technology. Take note of the long scenes. incorporating whole conversations without the modern characteristics such as short multiple camera shots and that dialogue is in real time (not accelerated) with spaces to breathe and timed to work the atmosphere and create tension. etc A and V were 7/7 due to its vintage but was very watchable on mt 30" lcd screen
