"Happy Monday!! I still can’t breathe – this is horrible. I seriously need to make a doctors appointment about my nose. I’m tried of waking up every morning and feeling like I’m choking because I can’t breathe – horrible way to start the day. Anyway… I had a fantastic weekend! Friday night I did a friend’s trolley bar crawl :) Which really wasn’t that crazy, I didn’t wake up with a horrible headache or anything, just felt tired. And Saturday night, I went to a friend’s bachorlette party and that was a good time! We started off at Hubbard Inn and then went to my (new) favorite bar, Three Dots and a Dash which was awesome! They have all sorts of delicious, specialty cocktails and the music they play is off the hook! It’s an awesome mix of 90′s and early 2000′s – it’s a good time. The line to get in is ridiculous – there were easily 200 people waiting to get in. I don’t like to wait to get in anywhere so if you’re like me, make sure you have a reservation or know someone. Although, I did not want to leave Three Dots and a Dash we finished our night off at Paris Club which in recent years has been the King of kings in Chicago nightlife but has dropped of a bit since The Underground reopened. I prefer Underground to Paris because of the music but again, these are places were reservations or a hook up is necessary – of course you could go super early to beat the crowd but you’ll be waiting around til about midnight when things really start to pick up. Chicago is definetly one of the BEST summer cities in the world – if you’re gonna visit, make your plans now and I’ll let you know on where to go :) xoxoxo"
