Plot:

Polisen i Ystad finner en båt i hamnen som ser ut som ett slakthus. Det är blod överallt men någon kropp finns inte på platsen. Strax därefter flyter en död kvinnas kropp i land. Ett av spåren i utredningen leder till Oskar Ung, en gammal kärlek till Linda Wallander. Deras tidigare förhållande försvårar Lindas arbete med fallet och Kurt kräver att hon ska hålla sig utanför. Men det visar sig vara lättare sagt än gjort. Gammal kärlek rostar aldrig.
