VUDU-TO-GO (READ DESCRIPTION)

If you have a Vudu account, this is the desktop application you would install to download your movies to your desktop or laptop. You must have an account to make use of this application. Simply go to vudu online to get started.

You can store your movies on Vudu, and get rid of the discs simply pay inserting your movie DVD into your desktop or laptop, and choosing to store your title on Vudu, through this application. Storing as a standard version will cost you $2, and storing in hi-def will cost you $5.

I usually borrow friends' movies, and then pay two bucks to store a copy on Vudu. You can also rent movies, and then store them on Vudu, paying $2-$5 for each copy. It's a no-brainer. While I do store thousands of movies on my external drives, I also like knowing that should my hard drives fail, I will still have my online library.
