About This Game
A desolate asteroid field on the edge of the solar system erupts in war. Your troops rely on you to take the battle to the enemy. Build up defenses and fleets, repair and upgrade your command ship, lead your forces to reclaim and conquer territory.
Game play:
The seat of a fighter, the bridge of a cruiser and a tactical battle map are your tools of war. Void Destroyer puts you in command and gives you ultimate freedom to control your forces and wage war.
If you ever wanted to directly control your forces in a real time strategy game or be able to build ships and command to your wing-men and fleets in a space combat simulator like you can in a RTS - this is the game for you. Void Destroyer combines elements from space combat simulators and real time strategy games. No longer are you limited on how to control and command. Battles are waged on your terms, you are given the tools. How you use them is up to you.

Jump into a fighter to engage in dogfights, then switch into a frigate to take out an enemy corvette. Build defensive platforms to augment the security of your base. Issue commands to your attack ships to distract enemy defenders to allow your marine frigates to board an enemy's base. Defend and oversee asteroid mining craft to have the resources necessary to support your fleets.

By combining elements of two genres, enemies can be more brutal, fights can be larger and you can overcome greater challenges.

Iteration 22 Hotfix 2:• Gravity hop flag wasn't being saved properly• Oversight: Gravity drive and ship AI - when disengaging gdrive ai controlled ships would be able to get next task/target• Bug/Oversight fix: idle command wasn't ruly idle (ships would respond to attackers)• Target/cycle nearest enemy target bug fixed and improvedIteration 22 Hotfix 1:• Tactical GUI - overhaul of "selection element" - WIP• Balance: fighters and fighter drones +10 to speed and +10 to maneuvering• Bug/oversight fix: ships "outbound" in gates weren't being saved. Would cause issue when command/player ship wouldn't be created on load. Not to mention any other ship that might have been outbound when game was saved.• Sun Gate - added 3D object ot the "distant sun" element - similar to have the "flares" worked before - however can't get "too" close to these objects - they will perpetually move away from the player to simulate "its soooo far away" object• Bug/oversight fix: shipyard build queues weren't always cleared on gate travel• Oversight fix: in case you enter a gate befor all of your ships exit out of another gate (eg: you just entered the sector, and hop into a sector exiting gate - which can happen very late in the game due to large fleets) ships are forced out of the exiting gate thus being with you in the new sector.• Tweak: when reinfocement gates are active (eg: ships are incoming) out of sector shipyards won't produce ships - this is to prevent by passing the unit cap.• Crash bug: destroying a gravity hop would cause a crash if in gravity drive or in a formation ai that needed to use the gravity drive - rare occurance but happens due to misssion scripts and other instances• Drones entering gates will self destruct - in game reasons "not built for gate travel" - game engine reasons - causes issues (including crash)• "Out of bounds" ships will be destroyed to alleviate the "have to destroy ship to proceed but its far away due to an anomaly" issue - during objectves to destroy them• Improvement to "should I defend myself" ship AI - in case attacking ship not being in target priority list - it will be ignored (needed due to sometimes very small target priority lists)
