TRAMA:

Al centro della storia un investigatore privato, Doc Sportello, che esercita il suo lavoro nella Los Angeles degli anni Settanta. Una visita inattesa della sua ex lo coinvolge in un caso bizzarro che coinvolge ogni sorta di personaggi, surfisti, traffichini, tossici e rocker, uno strozzino assassino, detective della LAPD, un musicista sax tenore che lavora in incognito ed una misteriosa entità conosciuta come Golden Fang, che potrebbe essere solo una manovra per eludere il fisco messa in piedi da alcuni dentisti...

STORYLINE:

During the psychedelic 60s and 70s Larry "Doc" Sportello is surprised by his former girlfriend and her plot for her billionaire boyfriend, his wife, and her boyfriend. A plan for kidnapping gets shaken up by the oddball characters entangled in this groovy kidnapping romp based upon the novel by Thomas Pynchon.
