Vanilla Fudge - 1970 - Rock & Roll (A mix)

Here is the less common A version of Vanilla Fudge's 5th album, Rock & Roll.

There have been 2 mixes of this album released on vinyl, which have been identified as the A mix and the C mix based on a letter found etched in the dead wax. Of the 2, the A mix is the less common.

The Repertoire CD release was of the C mix. The Sundazed reissue is mostly the C mix, except for the 2 most different songs, Street Walking Woman and The Windmills Of Your Mind, which they included needledrops for those two songs since the tape of the A mix is missing.

Most noticeable differences are that Windmills of your Mind includes an intro that is missing from the C mix, and Street Walking Woman includes backup vocal parts missing on the C mix. Also, Lord In The Country has more reverb on it than on the C mix. The single release of Lord In The Country also has this reverb on it.
