Trama

A Pleasure Island, in Costa Rica, c'è il villaggio estivo dell'ex rock star Coconut Pete (Bill Paxton), un posto da sogno per chi ha voglia di divertirsi tra orge di sesso e scorpacciate di marjuana. Insomma, il luogo ideale per chi vuole trasgredire tutte le regole del sano divertimento. Ma c'è qualcuno in mezzo alla foresta che ha intenzione di rovinare la festa a colpi di machete, uccidendo tutti gli intrattenitori.
Una tragica notizia che allarma i gestori del villaggio, i quali, per non spargere il panico tra i clienti, intendono mantenere tutto in segreto, almeno finché l'identità dell'assassino resterà ignota.
Chi sarà mai? Il nuovo massaggiatore Lars (Kevin Heffernan)? Oppure il fun police locale Sam (Erik Stolhanske)? Potrebbe essere anche il maestro di tennis Putman (Jay Chandrasekhar, anche regista del film), o magari l'istruttore d'immersione Juan (Steve Lemme). E se fosse il disc-jockey Dave (Paul Soter) ? C'è anche da tenere in conto la leggenda di Phil, assassino del machete che a quanto pare si aggira assetato di sangue fra gli alberi della foresta.
Una cosa è certa: arriveremo al finale trasportati da una serie di irresistibili gag cosparse per tutto il film.
