Storia e ambientazione:
Visitors (V) e` una serie televisiva serializzata statunitense di fantascienza andata in onda per la prima volta negli Stati Uniti d'America dal 1984 al 1985.
Il telefilm riprende due miniserie TV passate: V e V: The final battle, che vennero trasmesse in Italia con un unico titolo V - Visitors.
Il successo delle due miniserie spinse alla creazione di numerose puntate inedite, ma dato il calo degli ascolti venne interrotto dopo 19 puntate. Fu trasmesso in Italia per la prima volta nel 1986 sulla rete televisiva Canale 5.
La storia riprende la lotta fra la razza terrestre e la razza rettile extraterrestre presente già nelle varie serie, iniziando dalla fuga di Diana, un essere con intenti funesti.
