1: Rampage, a extremely small program, that can "free memory". very useful when your Memory is low! i love this, and have use it for years!



2: The VLC (VideoLan) Media player! very, very simple to use! and it can handle almost every format existing. including Flash video for an example, when your downloading video from youtube etc. you normally have to convert the file to another video format. But VLC can play the Flash video file without a converting!! love this player, never had a problem whit it, and support many languages!



3: MediaCoder, tired of windows-media-audio files? media converter can convert many formats, both audio and video! Works great!



4: Eraser, an extremely powerful eraser! simple explanation; instead of just delete the file, it also overwrite it several times, so the file will be moved completely (or as completely as it can be done, the only 100% sure way to delete Data from a hard drive, is by destroy it! but Eraser is very effective)



5: PeaZip, A good archive program, that can handle many formats. look at the bottom!:)



6: TrueCrypt, Can encrypt your hard drive and USB drives etc. Very effective, but a little complicated to get started with. however, it is very simpel to use when your started! and its a really secure encryption, that will make it almost impossible to get you data!



7: Pidgin, a instant messenger that can log on servers like MSN or AIM, and more!
