Description The film is based on real events and tells about the American Louis Zamperini, who participated in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. He did not won the final race, but for some reason, found favor with Hitler, who invited him to his bed. It was assumed that Zamperini will take part in the next Olympics, but because of the outbreak of the Second World War, he was forced to go to the front. His plane was shot down over Japan, and the Zamperini was captured by the Japanese, which has experienced numerous torture. He returned home already only after the war.
