Ultimate Survival Alaska is an American television reality competition series produced by Brian Catalina Productions that premiered on the National Geographic Channel on May 12, 2013.[1] The series is executive produced by Brian Catalina, Kristina Wood, John Magennis, Claire Kosloff, Victoria Levy, Peter Goest. Ultimate Survival Alaska focuses on eight survivalist men who are dropped off in the Alaskan wilderness where they compete with each other in a 3,000-mile race.[3]
Ultimate Survival Season two focuses on four teams of survivalists from different areas of expertise. The teams are woodsmen, mountaineers, military veterans, and endurance athletes. They have a task of reaching an extraction point faster than the other teams. There are multiple drop off and extraction points with different terrain for each leg of the contest. .[3]
