to mrslick, I know what you mean, the default is track 1 in vlc which is russian.

do this if you use VLC, I always do.

Go to Tools, Prefs, show All settings
Go to Audio, Input / Codecs
on the right go to the line that says Language, add this

English,Eng

That will say whenever those languages are available even if they are not FIRST they will be chosen in that order, sometimes the language is abbreviated that's why I use both comma delimited, this has always worked and I tested it with these.

Before this it would play the Russian by default because it was the first track, now it see the track marked "English" and chooses that one first.

I don't like how Russian is default on Audio track, but there is an option to turn on the English - THanks
