Bose, een commissaris van politie, is een rechtlijnige professional met
een recht-door-zee-mentaliteit. Echter, in de relatie met zijn vrouw
Shalini zijn de lijnen een beetje wazig. Shalini is een klinische,
depressieve vrouw met een alcoholprobleem. Ze was eerst getrouwd met de
acteur Rahul waar ze ook een dochter mee heeft, Kali. Wanneer op een
zaterdag Rahul zijn kind heeft laat hij haar in de auto achter om zijn
vrienden te ontmoeten. Maar dan raakt Kali vermist...

The film portrays the kidnapping of a little girl of 10, who is out with
her father for the day. Her parents are divorced and the ex-wife,
literally cloistered by her new husband. On the other side a power-hungry
super cop who is increasingly dependent on a cocktail of alcohol and anti
depressants, makes his way through this whole event.
