In my opinion the original HBO broadcast is a much better production overall, the camera angles are better and so is the color correction. Another thing is the audio, not that this copy has bad audio quality by any means, but this version's audio has way more extra "noise" for my taste. Some examples include: a lot of unnecessary echoing of Bono's voice, a much louder audience and some changes on the sounds of the instruments at some points.
I don't know if its the fact that I've been listening to the HBO broadcast's audio for longer, but I just don't like this version. They should have just packaged the Broadcast version + The Fly intermission.
If you really want the DVD version of the concert this is a good copy, my thoughts are about the overall comparison between the two, not the copy's quality.
