Plot outline .:



The story takes place in the aftermath of a shipwreck, as

twins Viola and Sebastian crawl from the wreckage. A

confusing and comedic tale subsequently unfolds, with Viola

disguising herself as a man, and finding affection in some

strange places. Shot for British television, Branaghs

TWELFTH NIGHT is a welcome addition to the oeuvre of screen

adaptations of Shakespeares works.
