If you're installed non-English version

On some PCs there can be a problem with dashes (------) instead of fonts in game UI.

In this case go to game Data folder and rename/move outside the following files:

local_en.pack
local_en_shared_rome2.pack
music_en_shared_rome2.pack


Crack Selection

RELOADED crack is pretty universal and just runs the game. The only problem with it, that it doesn't support in-game Encyclopedia.

sam2k8 crack, on the other hand, DOES support Encyclopedia, but the game exe should be patched for your CPU and in some rare cases it simply doesn't work.

If you choose sam2k8, the installer will run the patcher automatically, but you may need to run CPUID.Patch.bat manually after the installation is complete.

With sam2k8 crack Steam must be running! (on some PCs logging in is required)

Alternate run method for sam2k8 crack

If the game doesn't work for you via launcher.exe or crashes in attempt to open Encyclopedia,
add the Attilb.exe (not the Attila.exe) as a non-steam game to Steam, then run it from Steam library.

Selective Download

You can skip downloading of language files you don't need.
Here is the list of optional files (without them the game will be available in English only):

Backward Compatibility

This updated repack IS NOT backward compatible with my previous ones. With every patch EVERY game resource file is changing. I could make repack with a patcher inside, but this way the installation time would be 2-3 times longer, at least.



Problems during installation?

If you experience errors (Xdelta or Unarc ones) during installation, try the following things:

• Re-hash torrent (in Utorrent point to the game entry, stop download/upload, then click right mouse button, then click "Force Re-check")
  
• Make sure you have at least as two times more virtual memory, than actual, physical RAM
  
• Make sure you have enough space on target drive & on C: drive (or whatever system drive you have)
  
• Try install the game NOT to C: (system) drive OR especially to C: drive (Windows rights system is a tricky thing)
  
• Run setup with proper rights, as shown on this image:
