Adelaide emcee Tkay Maidza has released the follow up to her infectious 2013 single 'Brontosaurus'.

'U-huh' showcases Tkay's rapid-fire flow and the dancefloor decimating production of Elk.

Musically she’ll probably get referred to in the same breath as Azealia Banks, not just because she’s pretty good at the whole rap lark, but because production wise she tends to fuse it with the more electro leanings of bands like CHVRCHES and The Knife.

Unlike with full-time Twitter blocker Banks, however, Maidza seems to be enjoying what she’s doing, a palpable sense of fun permeating U-huh via the non-sensical “chitty bang bang” call and response bit, to the brilliantly teenage chorus of ”they be like ‘hey hey’, but I don’t care, ‘u-huh’”.

Apparently the song is “a shout out to all the people that pretend to like you and be your friend”. Well, we’re all friends now, Tkay, don’t you worry.
