Written in the early part of the last century, these 5 short stories feature "forensic investigator" Thorndyke who solves crimes - like Sherlock Holmes - by careful analysis of the clues. Not as devious as Sherlock Holmes, these are nonetheless quite clever and have survived the test of time.
