The Yardbirds Cumular Limit compilation is a revelation. It fills in the gap between the Little Games LP of 1967 and the classic Led Zeppelin I of late 1968. This compilation reveals that in the intervening period the Yardbirds were an awesome psychadelic blues rock four piece, featuring Jimmy Page on guitar, Keith Relf on vocals and harmonica, Jim McCarthy on drums and Chris Dreja on bass. The mixture of live tracks, especially Dazed and Confused from March 1968, with hereto unreleased studio gems such as Avron Knows and Spanish Blood, makes this compilation a must have for all Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin fans.
