This is primarily a soft thriller that highlights moral and relational dilemmas with brief comical glimpses and evolving maturity on the part of Scully and Mulder. Unfortunately for most, it may not dazzle, it may explode into the original captivating and sometimes stunning mind-twisting and science fiction wonderland of past episodes.
