Paramount have said that the 4 hour extended cut will not be released and the director is not known for releasing alternate cuts of his films.

there will be an extended cut one day, I mean really this is the directors cut, as marty edited it without any studio involvement so he edited it how he wanted it, final cut!

but the BR didnt come with any extras really, just a 17min small vid of marty talking, so the next release will probably have narration, and then a 10 year or 30 year anniversary special will have that 4 hour cut.
