This is good quality video for such an old movie. It's not terribly authentic, with obvious sound stage sets, and the special effects are lame, but some of it is surprisingly gritty for a 1951 movie. Gene Evans is excellent in the lead role. You will see the weirdest Buddha statue ever, apparently modeled on an Sitting Bull.
