The Spectre in More Fun Comics 052-101

The Spectre was originally a cop, but when he was murdered by mobsters, he was not allowed to pass on to his final rest, but was cursed to wander the Earth battling evil doers until there is no more evil left on the Earth. Let's Face it ... he's going to be here for a long, long time.

The Spectre first appeared in More Fun Comics issue 52, and remained in the series for 50 issues, through issue 101. It is these stories that are collected herein. Originally more or less a pulp hero type, as time went on, people kind of lost interest in superheroes for a while, and a new character called Percival Popp the Super Cop was created to work with the Spectre, kind of changing the flavor of the tales for a time.

As always, these issues are very old, and currently the scans of many of the stories are not of the quality we might wish, but I still hope you enjoy the collection.
