The Sims 3 Katy Perrys Sweet Treats-FLT [PublicHD]

I've downloaded and installed this game and it works great. But then I had my laptop reformatted so my whole Sims 3 game was deleted. Fortunately I was able to backup my installers. The problem now is that when I tried to reinstall the game, a pop-up box appears saying "update of The Sims 3 failed, Setup is unable to continue." What do you think went wrong? Please help I really love the Katy Perry sims :(

to check whether the sims expansion is installed, open the game launcher. and one more thing, if its just expansion stuff, like diesel or whatever, u dont have to copy the crack, it will automatically installed in ur game, unless if its expansion like the sims university or season, u need to COPY THE WHATS IN THE CRACK FOLDER INTO THE SIMS 3 GAME BASE 'GAME BIN' FOLDER
