If every mental or physical suffering or death ultimately is for "The Good", then I'm left with a question:
Why even wear a seatbelt? Wearing a seatbelt (or using any kind of safety device) could also be seen as trying to interfere with Gods Plan and rebellion against it.

Faith is not the absence of reason or common sense, yet, it entitles that even when we have done all we could to keep everything good, there is a bigger battle fought behind the scenes. All those who trust in God will trust His wisdom in all circumstances even though it is hard. My dad passed away some 3 months ago but where would it get me blaming God or being atheist about it? The Bible says that even though we may die Christ has the power to bring us up again. The world is messed up, bad will always happen! What is important is if you have a place when all is made new again.

Faith is exactly that: the lack of common sense. It can't answer the seatbelt question and its consequences. This "bigger battle behind the scenes" is only an excuse to cope with the question "why would God do something horrific like that to me or us?" So God is the cause of the question in the first place and is then used to answer it again. Without the God-concept the question wouldn't even exist.
And I'm sorry to hear your dad died. But people of all ages die, death is part of life, so in that respect there's never any blaming to do. But one could investigate the physical cause of a death and then do some "blaming". And unless you think car-crashes, cancer or old-age are inflicted on us by God then we pretty much can figure out what or who caused it without having to blame God. \n
The place where everything is "made new" again is on Earth, our little planet. Here genes procreate and organic molecules are created, destroyed and recycled all the time. There's no need for an afterlife to explain the renewal of life. \n
I think it's more important to focus on life, not death or what many people assume comes after death. People die and only continue to live in our memories. That's what the afterlife is for me. There's no esoteric "soul" necessary for that either. This idea of an afterlife and resurrection for the devout believer is based on fables, there's nothing more to it than that. It's not common sense.
