This best offering of "The Remains of the day" (French) starring Ms. Emma Thompson and Sir Anthony Hopkins comes to you with the following enhancements over previous version offerings on the net or even on the DVD itself in fact:



1) We have made a brilliant improvement to the picture format from what insanity on the DVD mini height rendition by using the "pan and scan" correction of our conversion software. The result is a letterbox format that gives you a much fuller picture on the screen while retaining the widescreen effect somewhat with smaller black band on the top and bottom than you would normally be struck by on the DVD offering "as is". We have been using this enhancement for this particular movie for some weeks with great success in seeding support here and there.



3) This movie length is the full 2hours and 14 minutes, a full six minutes longer than on the Euro edited cut we previously encountered to make available.



In addition to English/French, our English/Spanish and English/Portuguese versions of this movie format will be available in the coming days. Multi-language versions will have 128k on each audio track for a combined bitrate of 256K to keep

the file in a manageable size while offering great enough sound to fill an auditorium! English/German was lanuched weeks ago, with only moderate success it seems.



The message of this movie for all of mankind is that we should never give up on our ability to fully care and feel for one another in the midst of other priorities. We otherwise stand to lose everything in fact and find potentially ourselves dispossessed of all that was our due.



Although both French and English audio tracks are present in this movie file, we have taken special steps to make the default audio track "French" (Track 1 as embedded for you here)
