THE RED SKELTON SHOW -- guest stars John Carradine and Franklin Pangborn ( 7th Season )

This was during a period in the late 1950s when CBS was broadcasting some of their live shows in color. Unfortunately the kinescopes (films made from TV monitors) were still shot in black & white and that's all that survives of the older seasons of The Red Skelton Show. As announcer Art Gilmore said portions of this were pre-recorded, partially making this one of the earliest shows to be videotaped as well.

Comedian and character actor Franklin Pangborn made one of his final acting appearances in this episode. He died later that year.
