"The Omega Factor" Complete Psychoterror TV Series

Far ahead of its time, this BBC TV show was only shown once. A concerted campaign by Extremist Christians lead by Mary Whitehouse saw the show banned. It was canceled after one season and in 25 years never repeated, even on late night TV.



The series concerns journalist Tom Crane (James Hazeldine), who finds that he possesses psychic powers sought by a secret government department investigating paranormal phenomena and the potential of the human mind. The phenomena explored include hypnosis, brainwashing, extra-sensory perception, telekinesis, poltergeist phenomena, out-of-body experiences and spiritual possession.



Expect atmosphere. Expect uncanny. Expect thrills. If you get the chance, take it. You'll be haunted by the memory! Don't expect fantastic effects, ray guns, funny aliens or obscenities. You don't need those to ice your spine. In fact, good stories, good acting, and good dialogue are far more important.
