This is a brilliant reality TV show where each week 12 entrepreneurs (in teams of 2) see who cans start a business "from scratch on a backpacker's budget" in 6 of the most demanding cities around the world.

Each week they're given a theme & have to come up with their own business ideas given just ~$100 and a little black book of local resources. They conceive of, argue about and execute their business ideas, making deals, finding venues and fighting like cats and dogs along the way. The team that makes the most money gets everyone else's cash & goes home. The losing teams remain to battle it out for one more week until you have one, ultimate loser.

What I really enjoyed about this show (as opposed to The Apprentice) is that they're not given tasks, they have to come up with their businesses from scratch - they're not managing a project, they're starting a business. By the end, I was able to see pattens in the winning ideas & those that consistently lost. What I also really like is that you see the negotiations in progress - they start with nothing, find business opportunities & negotiate or sell their way into money.

The Last Millionaire takes 12 of Britain's most successful young entrepreneurs and drops them into six of the world's most exciting and demanding cities. Here they face the ultimate business challenge; to make money from scratch in just five days.

Used to running successful businesses, these award winning entrepreneurs have proved themselves at home, but can they do it abroad? This time they'll be stripped of their legions of staff, company contacts, personal cash/credit cards and all their business lifelines. All they have left is a small amount of start up capital plus their raw money making talent.

To make it even tougher the entrepreneurs won't be travelling in the style they're used to. Instead of five star accommodation they'll be staying in backpacker hostels and surviving on a limited budget for food and drink. The only way back to their lavish lifestyles is to make more money than their rivals.

Visiting a new city every week the entrepreneurs must work in pairs. They can choose who they work with each week. And it's only the most successful partnership which gets to go home. The losing pairs continue until there are only two left.
