The Incredible Hulk Extended Cut (The Norton Version) (Size: 2.19 GB)
Description
I can't believe this hasn't been widely available including the fact that it has been unknown to so many for so long (myself included).
This is the elusive Edward Norton cut of 2008's The Incredible Hulk. There was controversy in the release of the final cut of the film because the studio basically scrapped this version so they could release a shorter cut (the theatrical cut) for retards (sorry, I mean 'wide audiences', which is the politically correct term). This clocks in at 2 hours and 25 minutes. That's 33 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. This cut is supposedly closer in tone to the vastly superior Ang Lee's HULK. It also appears to be from a PAL version (I can't believe that was actually a thing) where things move fast and people talk like they ate a chipmunk. So to get it back on the right track to NTSC glory (closest to 24 frames per second) please view it in the latest version of VLC and do the following: Open VLC. Go to the 'VLC' menu and select 'Preferences…' In the radio buttons in the lower-left corner of the window, change 'Basic' to 'All'. Click on 'Input / Codecs' in the left-hand side list. In the right-hand side frame look for 'Playback speed' and change it to 0.96 (use a comma if your system uses that as the decimal separator). Click on 'Audio' in the left-hand side list. In the right-hand side frame disable 'Enable time stretching audio'. Click the 'Save' button on the lower-right corner of the window. Quit and relaunch VLC. Enjoy your PAL movie at the correct speed! Make sure to set it back to 1 when watching NTSC encoded movies after that. Sharing WidgetTrailerScreenshots |
