Try to use VLC latest edition, its the one player that i use to play HEVC files like this one or Enders Game HEVC.

There is nothing special about splash. It's all marketing nonsense.

HEVC/h.265 is the latest high quality video codec and if splash can't play it, then it's not that great, you see.

If not VLC, which I don't recommend either, then use MPC-HC or MPC-BE. Any other player is just a copy-paste.

Nop, this is HEVC or x265, use VLC, is the one i use and gives great image.

Can somebody confirm the DTS HD MA 7.1/5.1 on BOZX HEVC Releases ? im ok with 5.1, but the title says 7.1, so i need some kind of confirmation. Thanks for the Upload !! Time to Wait for the Extended Edition that always follows this movies.

The title is correct, it is DTS-HD MA 7.1. Some movies only have 5.1 HD audio while others have 7.1, which is why it differs for the number of channels for a DTS-HD audio track.

I have seen the same info on VLC, so maybe the title is wrong, VLC doesnt properly detect 7.1 (maybe try with another movie that you are sure has 7.1 audio) or something else that im missing. Thanks for the info anyway.

VLC cannot decode DTS-HD MA (this requires the ArcSoft DTS-HD decoder, which only works with MPC-HC + LAV Filters), only the lossy DTS 5.1 core.
