I don't see the point of HEVC unless it's smaller than AVC. There are now 6 AVCs around 1GB. When the BluRay is out I'll get YIFY's 720p.

HEVC, as the name indicates, is more efficient. It means you can have smaller file size for the same quality OR better quality for the same file size. So yes, there is a point, even if YOU don't see it.
