insular Director of Information and Culture. Spearpoint plans to exploit the newly-liberated nations of Eastern Europe,

and Dorfmann could well be the secret of his success.

Meanwhile, the idealistic young German is courted by a number of prominent bureaucrats and entrepreneurs and seduced by

the mysterious and glamorous Nadine. Is he being set up? If so, for what? Used and abused by all parties, he clings to

his principles and fundamental belief in the basic good of humankind. But can he ride THE GRAVY TRAIN without getting

tarnished?
