The Fury (1978)

The Fury is a 1978 horror/thriller/sci-fi movie starring Amy Irving, Kirk Douglas, Andrew Stevens, and John Cassavetes. The movie tells the story of a secret government operation that trains kids with telekinetic powers to become killers. The movie was directed by Brian De Palma who also directed Carrie, a movie about a teenager with telekinetic powers. The movie has scenes that are sort of reminiscent of Scanners, too.
